Home Minnesota PLTW PLTW National Resources and Schools Programs

LTW is growing each and every year as new schools enter the PLTW network and established PLTW schools expand their program offering.  With this tremendous growth, effective communication to the PLTW network has becomes more and more challenging. To efficiently communicate with the thousands of teachers, administrators, state leaders, affiliate directors and others that make up the PLTW network, PLTW use an online email platform. While this system gets messages out quickly to our mailing list, unfortunately, some of our emails may be flagged as unwanted and become trapped in email filters.

We understand the need to have a comprehensive filter in place to remove unsolicited and potentially harmful emails.  However, PLTW emails include important information on program updates and changes, assessment and evaluation, professional development opportunities, STEM education resources and much more.

In order to ensure PLTW emails are received by everyone within the PLTW network and are not caught up in districts email filters PLTW is recommending school districts take the following action.

All PLTW emails – whether sent directly from a PLTW organization member or through our email platform – will come from a “@pltw.org” address. Therefore, PLTW recommends you make a request of your IT Department/Coordinator to modify the district filters to allow “@pltw.org” emails through and into employee inbox.

If at any point an individual within our communication lists no longer wishes to receive emails from that distribution list, they can simply unsubscribe and be removed from our mailing list.

If you have any question please feel free to contact PLTW for more information.

Thank you for your help.
