Minnesota PLTW Software Training Information 2010
Autodesk Inventor software is the main required software package used in several of the PLTW courses. MasterGraphics has set software training dates for new PLTW teachers, and for those who feel they need a refresher course on Autodesk Inventor. We have timed these two-day classes to be prior to the PLTW STI training classes that many of you will be attending. The STI training classes concentrate on the curriculum covered in PLTW courses and spend little time on the software itself. Many of the attendees at the STI classes have indicated that they wished they had had software training prior to the STI sessions. That’s what these classes are for.
In the two day class our application engineers will familiarize teachers with the Autodesk Inventor interface, as well as designing parts and creating assemblies. Textbooks and computers will be available in our classrooms, so you will not need to bring your laptops. Details for these classes are noted below:
Autodesk Inventor Level 1 - May 11 & 12 - Brainerd, MN
Autodesk Inventor Level 1 - May 12 & 13 - Rochester, MN
Autodesk Inventor Level 1 – June 10 & 11 – Minnetonka, MN MasterGraphics facility

We have also set up an Autodesk Inventor Level 2 class for late august for those who want more training on the software. We have timed this class for just before school starts again and for many of you this will be during your teacher workshop week prior to the beginning of fall classes.
